About UsThe Department serves about 3000 people, and over 1500 homes, businesses, churches and the state park within a 40 square mile service territory of Mowbray Mountain located within Hamilton County TN. The Department provides Emergency Service and Fire protection to the community as well as we belong to the tri-state mutual aid-association.
We provide an extensive training program to allow for our members to continually improve their education to better serve the public at the time of the emergency. None of the members or staff of the department is paid, Members use their own vehicles at their expense to respond to the stations, answer calls and participate in training and other department activities such as Station and vehicle/equipment maintenance. |
