Mowbray Volunteer Fire Department receives a small operational allotment from Hamilton County, but the bulk of the operational budget comes from our community. We find it necessary to respectfully ask for a subscription fees. We had implemented the $5.00 per/month charge on the water bill as a voluntary contribution to our department to assist you in paying the fee. Your donation is used for:
*Capital expenditures for property and equipment; *Operational expenditures for maintenance and fuel. *Utilities and supplies for the the fire station and emergency medical supplies. *Equipment and personal protective gear for fire fighters and rescue personnel. It costs almost $8,000 to completely outfit a firefighter. *Insurance for vehicles, stations, personnel and equipment. *Training and community fire prevention education |
